Late 1940's. Area pictured to the left is Paramount Blvd. w/ palm trees, Downey Ave. parallels to the far right and Imperial intersects both. You can also see Quoit and Quill Roads meet at Paramount and a large field marks the spot of a future St. Raymond's Church. The neighborhood being developed is just south of Imperial Hwy. across the street from the current Imperial School. Just north at Downey Ave and Donavan is the remains of the Neal Moore Dairy (1929). Within 5 years of this picture most of this land was covered in homes and development.
